Fluffy Too Demonstrations
Take your pet to shelter as quickly as possible in this challenging 2D platformer with colorful graphics
Even the simplest platformers can be quite challenging if you are not paying enough attention to the levels, because it takes a bit of concentration to navigate certain traps. However, the developers must provide the players with a balanced experience, at least if they aim to please as many people as possible. A bit of frustration is a good thing in moderation, but too much can turn players away.
Help your pet get to shelter
Fluffy is a 2D platformer in which you have to navigate tricky levels and get to the end as quickly as possible. However, there’s a catch: You also have to guide your tiny companion along the way, and you do not have direct control over it. This increases the challenge considerably, mainly because it often happens that you lose your companion or forget to bring it along.
The first handful of levels are not very tricky, but it takes a while until you get comfortable with the fact that you also have to bring the pet along. The only command at your disposal is to call for it using the right-click on your mouse. However, it’s worth noting that the creature can get in your way if it gets too close, which can cause you to miss jumps because you collide with it at the wrong time.
Nice graphics and simple controls
The other thing you have to consider is the fact that you have a timer ticking away at all times, so you have to reach the end of the level before it expires. It’s actually quite difficult to do so even in the beginning, given the fact that your pet moves very slowly. Traps come in many forms as well, including spikes, bottomless pits and various moving saws that kill with a single touch.
Thankfully, at least the controls are responsive, even if it’s difficult to make precise jumps sometimes because of your companion. The fact that you also have to use the mouse can be a bit of a bother, but you can get used to it after a while. Lastly, the graphics are simple from a technical point of view, but at least they are colorful and enjoyable, albeit repetitive most of the time.
A lot of rage and frustration for a casual game
In the end, Fluffy appears to be designed for casual audiences when you first lay eyes on it, but that’s not really the case. Hence, you should be prepared to deal with many annoying moments and a pretty high difficulty level.
